Electrotherapy

Electrotherapy is a medical treatment that uses electrical energy to stimulate nerves and muscles in the body. It is commonly used to relieve pain, improve muscle function, and promote healing. Electrotherapy can be delivered in a variety of ways, including through electrodes placed on the skin, through implanted devices, or through applications of electric currents. Different types of electrotherapy include transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS), spinal cord stimulation (SCS), and deep brain stimulation (DBS). Electrotherapy is often used in conjunction with other medical treatments and therapies to help manage chronic pain, neurological disorders, and other conditions.
